Wendee Lee Curtis

While working at KTNV (ABC) in Las Vegas, Wendee hosted the traffic reports and updates for the morning and evening news broadcasts, live shots and all breaking traffic news. Wendee didn’t stop there and returned to the “stage”, this time as an Entertainment Reporter for KTFrom Broadway to Broadcasting, Wendee Lee has enjoyed an adventurous career both on the Broadway stage and most recently— before the camera—as the Traffic Reporter/Entertainment Reporter / Weekend Anchor (fill-in) at KTNV (ABC) in Las Vegas; beating out more than 250 contestants at an open casting call for the #1 rated Vegas morning show, “Good Morning Las Vegas”. Las Vegas viewers watched and voted Wendee their favorite traffic reporting candidate! Wendee actually began her career in the professional theater arena (national & European tours) eventually landing on Broadway. Having spent over a decade on the great white way performing at legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and Lincoln Center, she shared the stage with other Broadway performers, including multiple Tony Award winner Chita Rivera, Bernadette Peters, Tonya Pinkins, and Roger Bart, who portrayed ‘George Williams’ on the popular ABC show “Desperate Housewives.” I was also featured and performed at events honoring luminaries such as Hillary Clinton, Henry Kissinger, Ann Reinking, Marian Wright Edelman, The Nicholas Brothers and most notably, my sheroe and inspiration, Lena Horne. NV profiling the hottest celebs, shows and even hotter nightlife that could only be found in Sin City. After only nine months at KTNV, she was promoted to the position of Weekend Anchor (fill-in) delivering live and breaking news reports to Las Vegas viewers. She was also honored to be awarded employee of the month that same month. Wendee’s hosting experience also includes live events for WeTV with wedding & event designer to the stars Diann Valentine and numerous pharmaceutical and Fortune 500 companies like Astra Zeneca, Boehringer Ingleheim, Otsuka, Sanofi, Roche, Grant Thorton, Pepsi, KFC, Jack in the Box and many, many more (with Blueprint NYC, Broad Street, INVNT, & Caribiner Entertainment). She also appeared as a “mom expert” alongside actress Teri Hatcher on the Disney Family web series “Chick Chat: A Girl’s Guide to Life”. A major career highlight: on-camera interviewer of Joe Jackson (father of The King of Pop Michael Jackson) for the documentary “Making Michael”. Wendee’s love for entertainment is matched only by her love of adventure and global travel with visits to more than 31 countries and 36 of the 50 United States.
